From solid block to part.

From a block of eco-friendly brass or aluminium the cutter carves the model, pass after pass.

04 · Zamak casting

From the mould, in series.

The model creates the rubber mould: molten zinc alloy fills it and the part takes shape.

We add the colour.

Born in the world of costume jewellery, today we make metal accessories for leading footwear, bag and clothing brands. Our experience has also led us to make components for brands in the automotive sector.

We work side by side with architects, pattern makers and designers to develop a product from scratch, or we make models directly from the drawings supplied by the client.

We design any model in 2D, 2.5D and 3D with dedicated software, starting from an idea, a sketch or a technical drawing.

What does Oltremodo Srl make?

Metal accessories for leather goods, bags, footwear, belts and clothing, components for the automotive and furniture sectors, event medals and displays for shops and shop windows.

Can you make an accessory from my idea or drawing?

Yes. We work with architects, pattern makers and designers to develop a product from scratch, or we make the model directly from the client's drawings, in 2D, 2.5D or 3D. The client receives the finished part, plated and ready to use.

Which processes do you carry out in-house?

All of them: 2D/3D modelling, resin 3D printed prototypes, six CNC machines for eco-friendly brass and aluminium (including two machining centres with automatic loaders), pantographs, zamak casting, cutting and engraving with two YAG lasers and one CO2 laser, welding, electroplating, tumbling, vibratory finishing, polishing and enamelling.

Which materials do you work with?

Brass, including eco-friendly brass, aluminium, zamak, steel and stainless steel, sheet metal, plexiglass, wood and, with the laser, also paper, cardboard and glass.

Do you work as a subcontractor?

Yes. Besides our full service for end clients, we work as a subcontractor for companies, workshops and pattern makers, especially for laser marking on metal, CAD/CAM design with CNC cutting of brass and aluminium, and zamak casting, even for a single step and from one-offs to series.

Do you also work for the automotive sector?

Yes, besides fashion we make components for some automotive brands.
