Privacy policy
Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"). This policy covers the website www.oltremodo.net and its request form.
Last updated: 5 October 2026 · The Italian version of this policy prevails in case of discrepancies.

2. Data we process
a) Browsing data
As with any website, the systems of the server hosting the site record some technical data related to browsing: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type and operating system. This data is used only for the operation and security of the site and is not used to identify visitors.
The site does not use analytics, profiling or advertising tools and does not load resources from third-party servers: fonts, images, animations and scripts are all hosted on our own server.
b) Data sent through the request form
If you contact us through the form, we process the data you choose to send: full name, company, email address, phone, type of request, message text and any attached files (for example drawings or 3D models). Please do not include unnecessary data in your message, in particular special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR).
After sending, you receive an automatic confirmation email at the address provided, which only contains your name and the type of request.
c) Anti-spam technical data
To protect the form from automated submissions by programs (bots), when you send it the site checks how long it took to fill it in and the presence of a code generated by your browser, and limits the number of submissions from the same IP address. For this purpose it stores on the server a non-reversible fingerprint of the IP address (not the address itself) together with the submission times, which is automatically deleted within 24 hours.
3. Why we process it (purposes and legal bases)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering requests for information, preparing quotes and assessing the projects you send us | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Managing any business relationship arising from the request | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations, including tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Ensuring the operation and security of the site and protecting the form from spam | Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims | Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not use your data for advertising or newsletters and we do not sell or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes.
4. Is providing data mandatory?
No, it is optional. However, without the data marked as mandatory (name, email, message) and without acknowledging this policy we cannot receive your request and reply to you.
5. Who can see the data
Data is processed by Oltremodo staff who are authorised and instructed to do so. It may also be processed by the providers of the technical services we need:
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italy) – website hosting and sending of the emails generated by the form, as data processor (Art. 28 GDPR);
- Google – provider of the email service (Gmail) we use to receive and manage requests, which processes data under its own terms and privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Data may also be disclosed to advisors (for example accountants or legal advisors) and to public authorities, only where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Google's email service may involve the processing of data in the United States by Google LLC. This transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, and/or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. How long we keep the data
- Form requests: for the time needed to handle them and, if no business relationship arises, for up to 24 months from the last contact, so that we can follow up on the request;
- Data related to a business relationship: for its whole duration and then for 10 years, as required by Italian civil and tax law;
- Anti-spam technical data: 24 hours at most;
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for server logs, unless needed to investigate computer crimes.
8. Your rights
At any time you can ask the controller for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights write to oltremodo.g@gmail.com: we will reply without delay and in any case within one month.
If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
